Privacy Policy

Information We Collect
We collect the information you provide when you build an order and complete verification: your full name, institution or organization name, shipping address, phone number, and — optionally — a supporting document such as an institutional ID, lab affiliation letter, or business license. We also retain the order details you submit (products, quantities, and the shipping/tax totals calculated at checkout).
How We Use Your Information
We use this information to verify your research or institutional affiliation, to fulfill and ship your order, to calculate accurate shipping costs and sales tax, and to respond to questions about your order. We do not use it for advertising, and we do not currently send marketing email. If that changes in the future, we'll update this policy and give you a way to opt out.
How We Share Information
We share your shipping details with the carrier used to deliver your order. Order form submissions are received and stored through our form-processing provider, Netlify. To calculate sales tax, your ZIP code — and only your ZIP code, not your name or full address — is sent to a third-party tax-rate lookup service. We do not sell your personal information to anyone.
Local Storage & Cookies
Before checkout, the products and quantities you've selected are kept in your browser's local storage so your order is remembered as you browse — this data stays on your device and isn't sent to us until you submit the verification form. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
Data Retention
We keep order and verification information for as long as needed to fulfill your order and to meet our own tax, accounting, and legal obligations, and no longer than necessary beyond that.
Your Choices
Depending on where you're located, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal information we hold about you. To make a request, contact orders@aminose.com.
Security
We take reasonable measures to protect the information you provide, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security.
Children's Privacy
Aminose is intended for use by adult researchers and institutions and is not directed at, and does not knowingly collect information from, anyone under 18.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date above.
